SPECIAL EDUCATION

Teachers in this area support students with special needs, either within their regular classrooms or in designated small group settings. Their primary focus is to provide additional assistance and implement tailored learning strategies for students with disabilities or those requiring behavioral support.

INTERVENTION

Intervention teachers play a crucial role in assisting students who face challenges in the classroom but do not have an IEP. They provide targeted support and customized learning strategies for students who need extra help, ensuring they succeed in their educational journey.

ELD

Our English Language Development teacher supports our linguistically diverse students, where families speak over 30 languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese. We provide language instruction aligned with Colorado's English Language Proficiency Standards, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing through small group instruction, in-class support, or specialized classes. The goal is to ensure every multilingual learner has equal access to educational opportunities.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Our service providers include Occupational Therapists, School Psychologist, Speech and Language Pathologist, and Gifted and Talented teachers. They collaborate with the intervention and special education teachers to offer specialized support tailored to individual student needs, both in an out of the classroom.
