In First Grade at Hollister Lake, we use curious minds to shape our learning and its trajectory. Students learn how to wonder, how to predict, how to ask questions, and how to discover, in the classroom. We incorporate STEM and Inquiry Based learning across all our curriculum, helping students connect to their learning with the use of movement, manipulatives, and real world scenarios. We engage and motivate students by teaching the whole child, by first focusing on building positive relationships. Here at Hollister Lake, we strive to help each student achieve success in a way that fits their specific learning needs and style, and we work hard to partner with families to provide this success for every child.
